Integration Solution Architect

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Integration Architect to support the ETRM transformation program under Project Chloe. This role will be instrumental in designing and governing integration architecture for the replacement of DEX and enabling seamless integration across trading, risk, downstream, and enterprise platforms. The Integration Architect will ensure all integration solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and IT strategic roadmaps across Cloud, Integration, Open Source, Big Data, and related domains. This role is primarily an individual contributor position, with potential responsibility for mentoring or guiding a small team.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture & Solution Design • Provide solution architecture development, consultancy, and assurance across projects. • Ensure integration solutions conform to Client enterprise standards, segment/reference architectures, and governance frameworks. • Translate architecture guidelines and standards into practical implementation models. • Define integration patterns, API strategies, event-driven architectures, middleware solutions, and messaging frameworks. • Ensure alignment with Cloud, Mobile, Integration, Open Source, and Big Data reference architectures.Program & Transformation Support • Lead integration design for the ETRM transformation and DEX replacement. • Support ETRM platform integration across trading, risk, settlements, logistics, finance, and downstream systems. • Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies. • Drive reusability and standardization across integration assets.Governance & Compliance • Apply TOE standards and formally raise step-outs where required. • Use enterprise architecture tools such as: • IBM System Architect • PowerDesigner • ProVision • Create and maintain architecture artefacts and ensure repository compliance. • Conduct architecture reviews and provide assurance across project lifecycle stages.Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement • Manage relationships with senior business leadership (JG1/JG2 level). • Act as SME in engagements with suppliers, partners, and external agencies. • Provide clear technical recommendations aligned to business outcomes. • Mentor and guide other architects and technical professionals.Mandatory Skills & ExperienceTechnical Expertise • Strong experience in Integration Architecture (API, Middleware, Messaging, ESB, Event Streaming). • Experience integrating ETRM platforms within Trading & Supply environments. • Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and microservices architecture. • Exposure to Cloud integration models (Hybrid & Multi-cloud environments). • Familiarity with architecture governance and standards frameworks.Business & Functional • Strong understanding of Trading & Supply domain (Crude & Products preferred). • Ability to establish linkage between business strategy and IT architecture. • Experience working in large-scale transformation programs.Stakeholder & Communication • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team engagement. • Proactive communication approach. •
