Role description
Reed HR are working alongside a large Public Sector Body based in East London who are recruiting for an experienced Interim HR Specialist with extensive experience of managing Job family Projects. This role is initially until the end of January 2026, but will be reviewed for possible extension. Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to support the Job Families Project Lead and Job Families Programme Manager to deliver the overall aims and timeline for the Job Families project. Accountable to: Job Families Project Lead. Dotted reporting line to Job Families Programme Manager. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement Establish strong working relationships with the Job Family team, HR Business Partners, and departmental leads to ensure the job family framework is fit for purpose. Collaborate with internal communications to provide clear guidance and information for managers and staff. Support the facilitation of workshops and communication to gather input and feedback on role profiles and matching processes. Support leaders and managers by providing specialist advice on the implementation of Job Families outcomes. Drafting of Documents Draft and refine role profiles to ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with the Job Family framework. Spreadsheet Design and Data Management 1. Design, develop, and maintain spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting data. 2. Ensure spreadsheets are built with robust data validation, version control, and audit trails. 3. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislation. 4. Maintain accurate and up to date records of all actions and documentation relating to Job Family activity to support verification, validation and project outcomes. 5. Ensure compliance with equality, diversity, and inclusion standards. Pay and Grading Alignment 1. Support the transition to the revised pay structure, ensuring effective integration, consistency and fairness.
