Role : InterSystems IRIS Developer Location: Remote – USA Long Term Healthcare Vertical Preferw2 candidates Interview: Video 2 rounds Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled InterSystems IRIS Developer with strong expertise in ObjectScript, HL7 integrations, and healthcare interoperability standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IRIS for Health, understanding of production deployments using Kubernetes (IKO), and exposure to CQ Initiator/Responder workflows. The role also requires knowledge of Azure cloud, custom HL7 implementations, and familiarity with SDA/CCDA/JSON data formats. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain solutions using InterSystems IRIS/Cache with a focus on ObjectScript, custom classes, and extension properties. • Utilize IRIS-specific features in production environments and contribute to robust healthcare application development. • Work with CQ implementation workflows, both Initiator and Responder types. • Implement and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces, including custom messaging formats (SDA, CCDA, JSON). • Deploy and manage IRIS for Health in Kubernetes environments using IKO (InterSystems Kubernetes Operator). • Contribute to cloud-related initiatives with Azure, with a growing understanding of cloud-native patterns. • Utilize adapters such as SFTP, HL7, HTTP for integrations with external systems. • Collaborate in a team environment using GitHub, Serena, VS Code, and Linux/Unix tools. • Participate in solution design, applying strong analytical thinking and problem-solving strategies. • Communicate clearly and effectively across teams and stakeholders.
