Job Title: Intune SME Engineer (Consultant β Enterprise Mobility Solutions (MS Azure AD, MS Azure RMS, MS Intune))
Location: Nashville, TN 37238 (Onsite)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Intune SME Engineer to support the ongoing evolution of Enterprise Mobility Services within a large-scale organization. This role requires strong technical expertise across Intune, Azure, and PowerShell, with the ability to design, document, and support enterprise-level mobility and endpoint solutions. Candidates must demonstrate deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for modern device management.
Must-Have Skills

β’ Microsoft Azure / Azure AD
β’ PowerShell scripting
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop, maintain, and validate Surface release builds, including deployment automation and documentation.
β’ Provide L3 support for Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Windows OSβrelated issues.
β’ Design, update, and maintain structured knowledge base documentation.
β’ Build automation using scripts, implement workarounds, and drive process improvements.
β’ Work closely with security teams to ensure endpoint hardening and compliance.
β’ Customize and manage Windows OS builds integrated with Autopilot and Azure AD.
β’ Create and manage Intune policies, including Defender configurations, firewall rules, and MDM controls.
β’ Manage the full Windows device lifecycle; experience in macOS/iOS management is a plus.
β’ Package and deploy applications using PSADT.
β’ Handle patch management and vulnerability remediation.
β’ Support certificate-based authentication (SCEP/NDES).
β’ Automate compliance checks and policy deployments.
β’ Develop advanced PowerShell scripts for automation and configuration.
β’ Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and platform maintenance.
β’ Work cross-functionally with engineering and security teams to drive endpoint innovations.
β’ Create and execute test plans for feature releases and updates.
β’ Mentor and support junior engineers.
β’ Analyze endpoint management metrics and recommend improvements.
Experience Required
β’ 5β8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise mobility, endpoint management, or related IT engineering roles.
