Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms such as AS400 and SAP, and data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to monitor stock movements and identify trends. Conduct root cause analysis to resolve inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, or excesses while implementing process improvements for ongoing efficiency. Coordinate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiations to ensure cost-effective purchasing. Oversee shipping & receiving operations, including materials handling, order fulfillment, heavy lifting, and logistics coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PL). Perform financial analysis related to pricing strategies, inventory valuation, and supply chain analytics to support strategic decision-making. Lead category management initiatives by analyzing market trends using Nielsen data and retail management insights to optimize stocking strategies. Support demand planning efforts by analyzing sales data, conducting data mining activities, and utilizing SQL for advanced data analysis. Ensure compliance with safety standards during materials handling activities such as forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols. <Experience> Proven experience in supply chain management or warehouse distribution roles with a strong understanding of inventory control systems. Demonstrated expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms (such as AS400 or SAP), and data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis, financial modeling, and demand forecasting. Experience in procurement processes including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management. Familiarity with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and 3PL coordination. Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail management practices is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to collaborate across teams in fast-paced environments.
