IoT Consultant
Must Have:
• Mainly focused on core IT. The requirement is for candidates with a blend of IT, IoT, and automation experience—including PLC communication and Ignition
Job Description:
• Require 8+ years of full stack development experience in analysis, design, development and testing for the given skill set which include, but not limited to, the following: · Ignition (UI, etc.) · Web Integration (REST, SOAP) · PLC Communication (Read/Write via Ignition)
• Database Communication (Read/Write)
• Event Scripting (Python, Java, VB, etc.)
• Mobile robotic automation Support integration and functional testing/UAT
• Engages with Business users in defining UAT test plans.
• Creates / updates documents related to the application
• Split time between Cummins CMEP and Cummins CEP plants Collaborations and Communication directly with Plant Stakeholders including IT, Controls, and Industrial Engineers.
Skill Set:
Web API Experience REST, SOAP Database Experience: Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, etc. Database Design Experience Preferred Python Experience Good written and verbal communication skills
