Role description
IT Infrastructure & Cloud Reviewer (AI Training) About The Role You've spent years building, breaking, and fixing real infrastructure. Now put that expertise to work shaping the future of AI. We're looking for experienced DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and systems administrators to evaluate and improve AI-generated solutions for complex infrastructure challenges. Your hands-on knowledge is exactly what's needed to ensure AI delivers accurate, production-ready guidance — not textbook answers that fall apart in the real world. • Organization: Alignerr • Type: Hourly Contract • Location: Remote • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do • Review AI-generated solutions covering cloud architecture, DevOps workflows, and IT infrastructure • Evaluate code, configurations, and system designs for correctness, security, and adherence to best practices • Catch errors, misconfigurations, and gaps before they become someone else's production incident • Test and validate solutions across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-premises environments • Assess troubleshooting recommendations for real production systems and incident response scenarios • Provide clear, structured feedback that directly improves AI accuracy in engineering and IT domains • Work fully asynchronously — on your schedule, at your pace Required Who You Are • 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, systems administrator, DevOps engineer, or IT architect • Hands-on experience managing or troubleshooting production systems • Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), or infrastructure-as-code tools • Strong analytical mindset with sharp attention to technical detail • Clear written communication — you can explain complex concepts without unnecessary jargon • No prior AI training experience needed Nice To Have • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, CloudWatch) • Knowledge of networking, security hardening, or compliance frameworks • Background in system design or architecture reviews • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages Why This Role • Direct impact: Your expertise shapes how AI understands and advises on real-world infrastructure — work that reaches engineers globally • Fully remote: Work from anywhere, completely on your own schedule • Cutting-edge exposure: Gain firsthand insight into how advanced LLMs are trained and evaluated • Autonomy: No meetings, no micromanagement — just meaningful technical work • Ongoing opportunity: Strong performers are considered for continued and expanded contracts • Global collaboration: Work alongside a distributed network of expert contributors across engineering disciplines
