Title: IT Supply Chain Analyst Location: Wayzata, MN (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract (13 Months | Potential contract-to-hire) Compensation: $45-52 per hour Industry: Food & Beverage Manufacturing About The Role Our firm is supporting a large, global organization in the food and agricultural industry with a major North America–wide technology initiative. The organization is undergoing a laptop refresh as part of a transition to a new hardware vendor, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring the success of that effort. This position blends IT knowledge, inventory forecasting, and cross-functional coordination. While the job title aligns to a data and analytics classification, this is not a traditional data analyst role. Instead, it focuses on operational planning and reporting tied closely to enterprise IT hardware and procurement processes. Job Description The IT Supply Chain Analyst resource will support a large-scale laptop refresh program by ensuring inventory, ordering, and reporting activities are accurate, timely, and aligned with business goals. Working with limited supervision, this individual will collaborate closely with IT, procurement, and other cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Include • Forecasting and coordinating laptop inventory to meet refresh timelines and volume targets • Monitoring inventory levels and refresh progress, and producing clear reports and updates • Ensuring hardware orders are flowing smoothly from request through fulfillment • Partnering with procurement teams to coordinate and initiate purchase orders (POs) as needed • Collecting, processing, and analyzing moderately complex datasets related to inventory, orders, and refresh metrics • Building and maintaining reports and dashboards to support decision-making • Validating data accuracy and integrity across multiple sources • Presenting data insights and operational updates to internal partners and stakeholders Qualifications Required Qualifications: • Professional experience in an IT or technology-focused environment • Working knowledge of computer hardware concepts, such as: • Differences between memory configurations (e.g., 16GB vs. 32GB RAM) • Processors, storage types, and general laptop specifications • Experience supporting or coordinating inventory, asset management, or hardware deployments • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support operational planning • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including IT and procurement • Strong communication skills for presenting updates and findings to stakeholders Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting large-scale IT refreshes or device lifecycle management initiatives • Familiarity with procurement processes, including purchase orders • Background in reporting, dashboards, or analytics tools used in enterprise environments • Experience working within a global or multi-regional organization Benefits Dahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
