Role description
Role: Java AWS Developer Location: Atlanta, GA 30354 (Hybrid) Interview: In-person interview is mandatory Job Description (Aviation Client): We are seeking a highly skilled Java AWS Developer to support mission-critical applications within the aviation domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing secure, scalable, and high-performance services that enable smooth airline operations, passenger interactions, and real-time aviation workflows. Must-Have Skills: • Core Java with enterprise-level backend development experience • Microservices architecture and REST API development for high-availability aviation systems • Strong expertise in AWS, specifically: • AWS Lambda for event-driven processing • API Gateway for secure service interactions • AWS CodePipeline for CI/CD automation • CloudWatch for operational and application monitoring • DynamoDB for low-latency, distributed data management • AWS CLI for automation and environment control • TypeScript for backend scripting and service integration • Scripting (Shell/Python) for automation within aviation operational flows • Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing and orchestrating scalable applications Good to Have: • Quarkus and GraalVM for building lightweight, high-performance microservices • Experience with Java 17, Mockito, and modern unit-testing frameworks • Familiarity with aviation systems, flight operations, or airport management platforms This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced aviation environment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless operational performance across all critical systems.
