Senior Software Engineer - Java/AWS/Terraform/ForgeRock Overview We are seeking three highly experienced Senior Software Engineers to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. This is a long-term contract opportunity requiring dedicated onsite work. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in modern software engineering practices, cloud technologies, and a proven track record in a FinTech or Banking domain. Location & Duration • Location: Jersey City, NJ (Onsite - Mandatory minimum 5 years of relevant onsite experience) • Job Type: Contract • Duration: Long Term • Openings: 3 Key Technology Requirements (Must Have) This role requires hands-on expertise with the following core technologies: • Java • AWS (Amazon Web Services) • Terraform • ForgeRock Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills • Experience: Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and a minimum of 4+ years of applied experience. • Domain Expertise: Recent FinTech/Banking domain experience is highly preferred. • SDLC Proficiency: Hands-on practical experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. • Coding & Debugging: Proven experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages. • Agile Methods: Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery), Application Resiliency, and Security best practices. • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a key discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills • Strong practical experience utilizing JAVA, AWS, and Terraform. • In-depth experience specifically with cloud technologies. • Direct implementation or administration experience with ForgeRock identity and access management solutions. • Experience with modern middleware services technologies.
