The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with leaders, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers to understand requirements and build high-quality JavaScript applications aligned with business needs. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing enterprise web applications and services, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with leaders, architects, technical leads, and internal customers to understand and define project requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications and services using modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues; identify and implement effective solutions.
• Create detailed project specifications, requirements documentation, and effort estimates.
• Research and integrate new front-end or full-stack technologies to improve performance, developer efficiency, and user experience.
• Support the development and adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
• Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure alignment with long-term enterprise architecture and UI/UX standards.
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 1–5 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with hands-on experience building and deploying JavaScript-based applications in production environments.
Technical Skills:
• JavaScript (ES6+) – Required
• Front-End Frameworks/Libraries: React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Node.js experience for backend or full-stack development
• RESTful API development and integration
• Version control: Git / GitHub / GitLab
• Database experience: Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) or NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Firebase, etc.)
• Cloud deployment experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP (serverless, containers, CI/CD, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile team environment
