Role description
Role: JBPM Developer Location: Hybrid in Irving, TX Job Description: Required Skills: 1. 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development 3+ years of hands-on experience with JBPM (or Drools/Red Hat Process Automation Manager) 1. Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 standards, Experience with Drools rules engine and DMN 1. Proficiency in Spring Framework / Spring Boot, Experience with REST/SOAP web services Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy business process workflows using jBPM and BPMN 2.0 notation • Develop custom Work Item Handlers to integrate processes with external systems, APIs, and databases • Write and maintain business rules using Drools (DRL files, decision tables, DMN) • Configure and manage human task assignments, escalations, and task forms • Package and deploy process applications as KJARs to KIE Server • Integrate jBPM with enterprise systems (databases, messaging queues, REST/SOAP services) • Monitor, debug, and optimize running process instances and audit logs • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical process models • Perform unit, integration, and performance testing of BPM solutions • Support process versioning, migration, and production deployment activities • Write technical documentation for developed processes and integrations • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for BPM development
