Job Description:
We are seeking a Labeling Engineer to support the creation, maintenance, and implementation of product labeling for medical devices. This role focuses on label design, data accuracy, and system integration, without involvement in regulatory submissions or compliance approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain medical device labels, including UDI, barcodes, and product identifiers
• Create and update label templates using tools like Bartender, NiceLabel, or similar
• Ensure accuracy of product data, symbols, and formatting across labeling systems
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, packaging, and quality teams for label updates and implementation
• Support label printing, inspection, and troubleshooting on production lines
• Manage label version control and documentation within PLM/ERP systems
• Assist in process improvements and automation of labeling workflows
Required Skills:
• Experience in labeling for medical devices or regulated manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of UDI, barcode standards (GS1), and labeling systems
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems (e.g., Windchill, Agile, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Good coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams
