Role description
The selected candidate will work with team members to oversee the full development and testing of implantable and non-implantable devices. This role demands a solid grasp of electronic principles, practical experience with electronic equipment, and the capacity to excel both autonomously and within a team setting.
Duties and responsibilities:
β’ Develop requirements with a cross-functional team to define the behavior of the system.
β’ Triage defects, develop software unit tests, and review the testing teamβs software verification protocols.
β’ Analyze the software for failure modes and develop solutions that mitigate risk.
β’ Contribute updates to your teamβs software documentation and architecture.
β’ Improve the quality of your teamβs software through design reviews, and ensure your work complies with the procedures of the organizationβs quality management system.
β’ Join an Agile Scrum team that collaboratively plans sprints, improves the quality of the team's backlog of tickets, and defines and completes tasks.
β’ Perform other project tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
β’ Strong knowledge of computer science, including how embedded systems, operating systems, and compilation work
β’ Experience developing software in C/C++ and C#, including experience with object-oriented and functional programming.
β’ Experience with Labview and Python for testing
β’ Medical device experience required.
