Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Labware Master Data Management (MDM) Developer to support global LabWare LIMS implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, verifying, harmonizing, and promoting master data across multiple environments and sites. This role requires strong technical expertise in LabWare LIMS, data governance, and configuration management, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Location: Flexible / Remote(Ability to Support EST and GMT)
Department: Engineering β Pharma & Med Tech Pre-Sales and Solutions
Reports To: Senior Director, Pre-Sales
Key Responsibilities:
Master Data Development & Verification
β’ Develop and document methodologies for verifying master data including Analyses, Products, Item Codes, Locations, Instruments, and Sample Plans
β’ Assist local site teams in master data verification and validation activities.
β’ Support UAT, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and IQ/OQ validation
Data Management & Promotion
β’ Implement version control and change management strategies using LabWareβs OOB configuration packages
β’ Facilitate migration of master data between environments and provide training to users involved in data promotion.
β’ Define access controls and permissions for master data in collaboration with the Solutions Development Services Team
Standardization & Harmonization
β’ Establish naming conventions and optimal configurations for test methods.
β’ Create and maintain a library of test methods categorized by type to ensure consistency
β’ Harmonize master data across global sites and develop system standards and strategies
Documentation & Support
β’ Author and maintain MDM documentation, SOPs, and configuration specifications.
β’ Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for master data-related issues
Help with Method Execution
User-Centric Training of MethX Module: A customized training solution has been developed to address user understanding and reduce errors during method execution, the MDM developer should be able to tailor and create the end user training documents for customer to improve user engagement and confidence in navigating complex processes within the laboratory environment.
What are the Mandatory skills and skill proficiencies required for this position?
β’ 5+ years of experience in LabWare LIMS/ELN/LES implementations.
β’ Proven experience in master data creation, harmonization, and deployment.
β’ Strong Knowledge of The Labware Method Execution (MethEx) module
β’ Strong understanding of data governance, version control, and validation protocols.
β’ Familiarity with regulatory compliance and GxP environments.
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
What are the Optional skills and skill proficiencies for this position?
β’ Experience with LabWare integrations (e.g., MES, Maximo, Empower).
β’ Knowledge of global deployment strategies and site-specific configurations.
β’ Background in pharmaceutical or life sciences domain.
