LAMP Stack Developer

Job Title: LAMP Stack Developer Location: Dublin, CA (100% Onsite) Duration - 3-6months+ Job Summary We are seeking an experienced LAMP Stack Developer to join our team onsite in Dublin, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. This role requires someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced development environment, contributing to both new feature development and ongoing application support. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product to deliver high-quality solutions • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes • Work with relational databases (MySQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed • Maintain documentation for application architecture, processes, and configurations Required Skills and Qualifications • 4+ years of professional experience with LAMP stack development (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) • Strong proficiency in PHP (procedural and/or object-oriented) • Solid experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and query writing • Working knowledge of Apache web server configuration and management • Comfortable working in a Linux environment (command line, shell scripting a plus) • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript • Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred) • Understanding of web security best practices • Strong problem solving and debugging skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to work onsite with the team Preferred Qualifications • Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or similar) • Exposure to RESTful API design and development • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as jQuery or lightweight JS libraries • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies • Prior experience in a client facing or consulting environment
