Role description
Our Client, a Global Financial Services Firm, is seeking a Lead AI Business Analyst in their Greater Tampa Bay, Florida location.
Overview
This role leads business analysis and solution definition for next-generation agentic AI initiatives. You will translate high-level enterprise objectives into clear system requirements, partner across engineering, data science, and governance functions, and ensure AI-driven solutions are designed responsibly, efficiently, and with measurable impact. This position sits at the intersection of strategy, product, and technical delivery—ideal for someone who can bring structure to ambiguity and drive complex AI programs from concept through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Solution Definition
• Lead business discovery for agentic AI initiatives, converting business goals into well-defined product and system requirements.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and risk teams to ensure solutions align with strategic priorities, compliance considerations, and long-term AI governance frameworks.
• Define success metrics and measurable outcomes that improve productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
Requirements Management
• Elicit, document, and refine requirements spanning AI reasoning, data integration, knowledge orchestration, and adaptive decision flows.
• Bridge technical and business domains to ensure frameworks such as Strands, CrewAI, LangGraph, and Agent Core are accurately reflected in user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage change control for rapidly evolving capabilities, ensuring traceability, clarity, and compliance.
Stakeholder Alignment & Communication
• Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, developers, and governance teams to maintain alignment on priorities, tradeoffs, and dependencies.
• Translate complex AI and engineering concepts into concise, business-friendly narratives for non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and model demos to support fast, informed feedback loops.
Governance & Risk Integration
• Partner with Compliance, Data Governance, and Architecture teams to embed ethical, auditable, and transparent AI practices into solution design.
• Ensure all initiatives align with data privacy, security, residency, and supervisory requirements.
Operational Excellence & Delivery
• Drive the full delivery lifecycle—from concept through testing, validation, and deployment—maintaining documentation and prioritization.
• Support testing, model validation, and release readiness by providing scenarios, performance criteria, and risk considerations.
• Continuously refine business processes and operating models to maximize the adaptive strengths of agentic systems.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Analytical Proficiency
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially agentic and LLM-based architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS), data pipelines, and API-driven ecosystems.
• Ability to interpret outputs from frameworks such as Strands, CrewAI, LangGraph, and Agent Core.
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data, embeddings, and retrieval systems.
Business & Strategic Insight
• Deep expertise in requirements analysis, process optimization, and value mapping.
• Ability to quantify impact, model ROI, and articulate the business value of AI-driven solutions.
• Understanding of operational, risk, and compliance factors in production AI environments.
Leadership & Collaboration
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, data, and governance groups.
• Skilled in translating ambiguity into clarity while navigating fast-paced, innovative environments.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.
Mindset & Behavioral Attributes
• Analytical precision with a strong bias for execution.
• High integrity and alignment to ethical, responsible AI principles.
• Curiosity-driven approach with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
