Role Overview We are seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer / Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end delivery of analytics and data engineering initiatives in a fast-paced, research-driven environment. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with delivery leadership and team management. You will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, leading engineering teams, and ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities Delivery Leadership • Own project timelines, milestones, and deliverables from planning through execution • Translate business and research requirements into actionable delivery plans • Manage dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations • Communicate progress, issues, and impacts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Team Management • Lead and mentor analytics engineers and developers • Assign tasks, prioritize work, and provide performance feedback • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Technical Execution • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines • Develop and optimize data models and workflows using SQL and Python • Work with modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent) • Ensure production stability through monitoring, optimization, and issue resolution Engineering Excellence • Enforce best practices in version control, branching strategies, and pull request workflows • Conduct code reviews and technical design reviews • Establish standards for testing, documentation, and code quality • Ensure full traceability of changes across environments Domain & Data Understanding • Quickly learn new data sources, workflows, and business processes • Work with complex datasets, including healthcare, research, or regulated data environments (preferred) Required Qualifications • 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or related roles • Proven experience leading delivery of data and analytics projects • Hands-on expertise in SQL and Python • Strong experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines • Experience with modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric or equivalent) • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring engineering teams • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently in a contractor capacity Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with clinical, healthcare, or research datasets • Familiarity with EDC (Electronic Data Capture) systems • Exposure to data governance, compliance, and regulated environments • Experience in fast-paced, delivery-driven consulting environments Why Join Us • Work with a cutting-edge data engineering and AI company • Opportunity to lead high-impact, end-to-end data initiatives • Exposure to multi-domain data and AI solutions • Flexible and collaborative remote work environment • Be part of a team focused on operational excellence and innovation
