Lead Business Analyst

What You'll Do: • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements and priorities • Own, manage, and continuously refine the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners and engineering teams • Create detailed, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira, ensuring readiness for sprint execution • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, architects, and data teams to clarify requirements and resolve dependencies • Support SAFe processes, including Program Increment (PI) planning and cross-team coordination • Apply healthcare payor domain expertise to translate business needs into effective system solutions • Ensure delivery quality through requirement validation, UAT support, and continuous process improvement Required Skills • 8+ years of Business Analyst experience with the last 2-3 years as a Lead Business Analyst. • Bachelor's Degree - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. • Seeking proven ownership of backlog management, prioritization, and refinement in close partnership with Product and Engineering. Brings solid technical and data fluency-able to work comfortably with engineers, data teams, and complex systems-while maintaining focus on business value and risk. • A proactive go-getter who takes initiative, drives clarity, anticipates dependencies, and pushes work forward without waiting for direction • Health insurance payor industry experience is required • Experience with interacting with large scrum teams • SME Agile/SAFe experience • Proven ability to deliver high-quality Agile artifacts and contribute to cost-effective, value-driven solutions. Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and business analysis • Hands-on experience with creating 10-15 user stories per week in JIRA (SME level knowledge of Jira is required) • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent initiatives. Preferred: • Experience within a UI related product and basic knowledge of Webservices/RestAPIs • Cloud/DevOps project experience • SAFE/Agile related certifications This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $36.71/hour - $48.94/ hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K
