Lead Finance Business Analyst | London – Hybrid | Contract Opportunity Day Rate: £550-£600 Per Day (IR35 TBC) Our client is a leading financial institution committed to delivering innovative solutions and operational excellence across global markets. They are seeking a Lead Business Analyst to drive data-focused initiatives and support a major transformation programme, starting with the replacement of their General Ledger system. This is a high-impact role, offering the chance to influence critical financial processes, work with complex data, and lead a team of skilled analysts in delivering business-critical change. Overview • Lead and inspire a team of Business Analysts, driving excellence in delivery and collaboration • Take ownership of data-focused analysis across large-scale transformation initiatives • Coordinate IT development activities ensuring alignment with strategic programme goals • Deliver high-quality artefacts including process maps, data models, user stories and acceptance criteria • Champion data integrity, governance and quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency across financial systems • Support our Agile delivery framework through backlog refinement and sprint planning Requirements • Experience working on General Ledger Migration Projects • Proven experience as a senior or lead Business Analyst within financial services • Practical experience with Agile delivery, including Jira, Confluence and Scrum ceremonies • Leadership experience • Deep knowledge of data analysis, data mapping and large-scale system migrations • Expertise in SQL (SQL Server and Oracle) and advanced Excel skills • Strong understanding of data modelling, data management and quality improvement • Experience across multiple asset classes including FX, ETD, Bonds and Credit Products Please only apply if you are based in the London Area and are comfortable commuting 3 days per week.
