Lead Data Analyst - Outside IR35

Data Analytics Lead Outside IR35 £550/day / 3 Months The Role Our client is seeking a Data & Analytics Lead to drive automated reporting and establish a single source of truth across reconciliation, transaction, and performance data. A hands-on leadership role, overseeing a multi-disciplinary data team while remaining directly involved in reporting design and build. You'll consolidate disparate data sources into a unified reporting framework, working closely with business stakeholders to define KPIs and ensure reporting accuracy and governance. Key Deliverables • Daily reconciliation reporting • Power BI reporting — design, build, and maintenance of dashboards • Exception reporting to surface data issues for business action • KPI dashboards aligned to business objectives • Transaction reporting, consolidated and accurate • Variance analysis against expected performance What We're Looking For • Proven experience delivering BI and reporting solutions in a commercial, data-heavy environment • Strong technical proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and DAX • Experience consolidating multiple data sources into a single reporting framework • Ability to lead a small multi-disciplinary data team, balancing hands-on delivery with oversight • Strong stakeholder engagement — able to translate business requirements into reporting solutions • Data governance, reconciliation, or financial/transactional reporting experience desirable
