Lead Data Analyst (Healthcare Analytics) πŸ“ Location: Hybrid – Troy, MI (Local Candidates Preferred) πŸ•’ Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift (40 Hours/Week) πŸ“… Duration: 43-Week Contract (Potential for Extension) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Analyst to join a healthcare analytics team supporting population health and value-based care initiatives. This hybrid role is ideal for a data professional with strong experience analyzing healthcare claims, clinical, financial, and operational data while leading cross-functional analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in healthcare analytics, Power BI, financial modeling, and claims data analysis, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities β€’ Lead complex analytics projects involving cross-functional business and technical teams. β€’ Analyze healthcare claims, clinical, financial, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities. β€’ Develop financial models, utilization analyses, forecasting models, and strategic reports. β€’ Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI. β€’ Support population health and value-based care initiatives through advanced analytics. β€’ Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs. β€’ Collaborate with IT teams to validate, troubleshoot, and improve data quality. β€’ Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to leadership. β€’ Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve financial and operational performance. β€’ Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance. β€’ Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance as needed. Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. β€’ Master's degree preferred. β€’ Minimum 5 years of healthcare or health insurance data analytics experience. β€’ Minimum 2 years leading complex cross-functional projects. β€’ Strong experience with Claims Data Analytics. β€’ Advanced proficiency with Power BI. β€’ Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience with Milliman MedInsight. β€’ Experience with Epic. β€’ Experience with Microsoft Azure. β€’ Knowledge of Population Health and Value-Based Care analytics. β€’ Experience leveraging AI tools to improve analytics processes.
