Lead Data and Analytics Architect

Title: : Lead Data and Analytics Architect Location: 100% REMOTE Duration: 06 + Months Position Summary: Qualifications: Position Overview: Job description & Roles and responsibilities Work closely with Client IT to design analytics and data solutions that align with firm strategy and meet business goals. Work in Azure cloud and other cloud environments to deploy data warehouse and data lake technologies that enable an enterprise view of credible data for ingestion into systems and reporting. Define and own end-to-end Architecture from definition phase to go-live phase. Review all artifacts developed by team and assist release mgmt. to promote changes to various lifecycles. Ensure clarity on NFR and address these requirements during Architecture definition phase. Define Logical, Technical & Physical views of Architecture. Define reusable components/frameworks, common schemas, standards to be used. Help Technical Lead in identifying key technical risks and mitigation plan for the same and in estimation and planning. Mentor & guide Tech Leads & Engineers. As a Solutions Architect, you bring: 10+ years of experience in IT including at least 3+ years in Architecture roles. Experience architecting solutions for a Data and Analytics organization. Long-term, reliable, and end-to-end technical architectures background, specifically in Azure PaaS. Develop functional architecture design and contribute to product vision. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document. Robust experience in designing and building distributed application that meet performance, scalability and reliability requirements. Expertise in creating technical documents like Architecture views, Technology Architecture blueprint and Design specification. A point of view on emerging products/opensource tools and technologies. Hands-on experience with: Spark and Databricks. Some experience with MongoDB, CosmosDB and Redis. Queueing technologies such as Azure Service Bus. Container management solutions from Kubernetes and Docker. Experience with many of the following from the Microsoft Azure: Data Lake, Synapse, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Streaming Analytics, Cognitive Services, Data Factory, Power BI, KeyVault, Azure AD, and Azure SQL Monitoring technologies for cloud solutions such as Azure AppInsights.
