Lead Data Engineer / Palantir Engagement Lead (Contract) Location: United States (Remote depending on location) Duration: 12-month contract with strong extension potential We are supporting a large enterprise transformation program and are looking for an experienced Palantir Engagement Lead / Lead Data Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data solutions using the Palantir platform. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with leadership experience, working across engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver modern data platforms. What you'll be doing • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines within Palantir Foundry • Design enterprise data models, ontologies, and governed data products • Build and optimize data transformations using PySpark, Python, and SQL • Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable data solutions • Drive best practices around data quality, governance, metadata, and lineage • Explore and implement Palantir AIP capabilities, including AI-powered workflows and GenAI use cases • Provide technical leadership across distributed engineering teams • Conduct architecture reviews and establish engineering standards • Collaborate with cloud and platform teams to optimize performance and scalability • Act as the technical lead throughout the delivery lifecycle, supporting Agile development and solution adoption What we're looking for • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering • 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering solutions using Palantir Foundry Strong experience with: • Palantir Foundry • PySpark • Python • SQL • Deep understanding of ontology design, data pipelines, transforms, and governed data products • Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms • Knowledge of Palantir AIP, LLM integration, or Generative AI solutions is highly desirable • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders • Previous experience leading engineering teams or technical delivery Nice to Have • Experience with enterprise cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Experience delivering large-scale digital transformation program • Previous consulting or client-facing experience Why Apply? • Long-term contract with extension potential • Work on a high-profile enterprise transformation • Opportunity to shape the architecture of a modern data platform • Exposure to cutting-edge AI and Palantir technologies • Collaborative, high-performing engineering environment If you're an experienced Palantir Foundry professional looking for your next contract opportunity, I'd love to hear from you.
