Lead Data Engineer (Pennington)

Our client, a leading organization in data-driven solutions, is seeking a Lead Data Engineer (Pennington) to join their team. As a Lead Data Engineer (Pennington), you will be part of the Data Technology department supporting enterprise-scale initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for innovative data solutions, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Lead Data Engineer (Pennington, NJ) Location: Pennington, NJ (W-2 position; third-party candidates not accepted) Pay Range What's the Job? • Lead multiple scrum teams to deliver enterprise-level data solutions and architecture. • Administer and manage data preparation tools such as Alteryx, RapidMiner, and Tableau Prep. • Design, optimize, and tune SQL/PL-SQL queries for high performance. • Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for data processing and automation. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments. What's Needed? • Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration for data-driven solutions. • Expertise in optimizing data integration pipelines using ETL tools. • Strong knowledge of task dependency tuning and scheduling for scalability. • Proficiency with OpenShift containers and containerized deployments. • Experience with Airflow or similar batch processing tools.
