Lead Data Engineer with W2

Lead Data Engineer Location: New York, NY (Onsite from Day 1 | Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite) Employment Type: Contract | W2 Only Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and PySpark. • Architect and optimize data warehouses using Snowflake to support high-performance data access and analytics. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to capture and translate data requirements into technical solutions. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows to ensure high availability, data quality, and optimal performance. • Maintain clear documentation of data processes in alignment with ITIL standards. Required Skills & Experience: • 10+ years of data engineering experience. • Advanced skills in SQL—capable of writing complex queries for ETL processes. • Proficiency with Python programming and PySpark frameworks. • Strong hands-on experience building and managing scalable data warehousing solutions. • In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and performance best practices. • Practical experience with the ITIL framework, particularly Incident and Problem Management. • Experience working with ServiceNow and/or Jenkins. • Proven background in incident resolution, RCA, and ITSM tools.
