Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist with 8+ years of experience in building and deploying advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will lead data science initiatives, mentor team members, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions. This role requires strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and end-to-end project ownership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and advanced analytics solutions.
• Drive end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to production deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Build and optimize predictive models, recommendation systems, and forecasting solutions.
• Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts.
• Ensure best practices in data science, model validation, and performance monitoring.
• Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in AI/ML and data science.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of statistics, probability, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and data processing tools (SQL, Spark, etc.).
• Proven experience in deploying ML models into production environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Experience in stakeholder management and project leadership.
Good to Have
• Experience with Generative AI, NLP, or Deep Learning.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Soft Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
