Role description
Lead Data Scientist Location: 100% Remote (Denver, CO preferred) Duration: 1 month Contract Hours: MST (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) Job Summary: Seeking a hands-on Lead Data Scientist to lead a predictive maintenance proof of concept for a Fortune 100 aerospace and defense client. The role involves building anomaly detection models using freezer temperature and equipment telemetry data, assessing data quality, defining model success criteria, and presenting technical findings to client stakeholders. Required Skills: • 10+ years of Data Science experience • Strong Python, machine learning, statistics, and time-series analysis • Experience with anomaly detection or predictive maintenance models • Experience working with sensor/telemetry or IoT data • MS or PhD in a quantitative field • Excellent client-facing communication skills • US Person required (ITAR) Preferred: • Industrial/OT data (OPC, MQTT, Historians) • Aerospace, manufacturing, or other regulated industry experience
