Lead Data Scientist (UK Remote - FULL SC REQUIRED)

The role: Lead Data Scientist (full active SC required) The offer: • £600 to £650 per day (inside IR35) • Fully remote within the UK • Start ASAP • Running until end of July 2026 with a strong likelihood of extension I’m looking for a Lead Data Scientist for a UK-based contract role where you’ll be properly hands-on, not just waving from the side-lines. This is for someone operating at, or very close to, tech lead level who can both deliver and shape direction. You’ll be expected to get stuck into the work, spot opportunities for improvement, and help define the forward roadmap for data capability and analytics maturity. What you’ll be doing: • Hands-on data science and advanced analytics delivery • Acting as a senior technical lead across data initiatives • Identifying improvements across models, pipelines and reporting • Helping shape future scope and roadmap direction • Working closely with stakeholders to turn business questions into data solutions Core tech stack: • Python • SQL • Tableau • Power BI (useful bonus) If you’re senior, practical, and prefer building things over talking about building things, apply now with your latest CV and I’ll be in contact ASAP
