Relevant Experience β 7+ years for Lead Developer
5+ years for Senior Developer
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design: Develop architectural designs for loosely coupled suites of applications, ensuring they align with individual features and overall system architecture.
Application Development: Build and support applications using Appian, focusing on technical design, development, stabilization, and enhancement of Appian applications.
Data Modeling & SQL: Create data model designs, write SQL queries, and develop stored procedures as required to support application functionality.
Technical Leadership: Lead and participate in technical and operations reviews, sharing knowledge and learning from your teammates to enhance the teamβs overall expertise.
Documentation & Tracking: Organize, track progress, and maintain documentation using document repositories to ensure clear communication and project tracking.
Reusable Components: Build and share reusable components to promote efficiency and standardization across projects.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with other team members and mentor junior resources, helping them achieve their tasks and grow professionally.
Independent Task Management: Work independently on tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Agile Process Adherence: Adhere to and participate in standard agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Support & Deployment: Provide after-hours support when necessary, following release management and code deployment processes to migrate code changes smoothly.
Required Knowledge
Educational Background: Engineering degree or Degree in IT/Computer Applications.
Software Development Expertise: In-depth knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
Agile Methodologies: Extensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with management tools such as QC and JIRA.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to solve complex problems.
Agile Project Experience: Work exposure in Agile projects with a solid understanding of Agile ceremonies and tools like JIRA.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact independently with business and global counterparts.
Learning Attitude: A strong willingness to learn new technologies and work on new projects.
Flexibility: Ability to handle ad-hoc requests and manage Agile projects with a flexible and adaptive approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in providing after-hours support.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering successful Appian solutions.
Experience in release management and code deployment processes.
