Lead Engineer, Applications (AWS) & Integration Location: Miami, FL (Onsite) Duration: 12-Month Contract Rate: $65/hr C2C About the Role We are seeking a Lead Engineer, Applications (AWS) & Integration to lead the architecture, design, development, and integration of enterprise cloud applications. This role will drive digital transformation initiatives by delivering scalable AWS-based solutions, enterprise integrations, and modern AI-powered applications while providing technical leadership to development and integration teams. Key Responsibilities • Lead and mentor application development and integration teams • Architect, design, and support AWS-based cloud applications • Design enterprise integration solutions across ERP, CRM, APIs, and third-party platforms • Develop and implement REST APIs, GraphQL services, and event-driven architectures • Lead application lifecycle activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and support • Build and support AI agents and LLM-powered applications • Establish integration strategies, architectural standards, and best practices • Drive DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions Required Skills • AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, EventBridge) • Enterprise Application Integration • REST APIs & GraphQL • Event-Driven Architecture • Node.js / Java / Python • React / JavaScript / TypeScript • AI Agents, LLMs & RAG • CI/CD & DevOps • Terraform / CloudFormation / AWS CDK • SQL & NoSQL Databases • ERP Integration (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) • Cloud Security & IAM Candidate Requirements • 5+ years of experience building and operating AWS applications • Strong experience with enterprise integrations and middleware technologies • Experience developing cloud-native applications and distributed systems • Hands-on experience with AI-powered applications and modern software architecture • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Experience working within Agile development environments Nice to Have • SAP ERP / S/4HANA integration experience • SAP BTP, Fiori, Integration Suite, OData, IDoc, or BAPI/RFC knowledge • Experience leading large-scale cloud transformation initiatives Preference • Candidates local to Miami, FL or willing to work onsite preferred.
