About the Job: Lead Geospatial Developer (Esri GIS / Azure) Location: London (Hybrid-2days a week) Experience: 5+ years (Hands-on) Pay Rate : £600 per day Inside IR35 Employment Type: Contract About the Role A Geospatial Developer with strong Esri GIS and Azure experience is required to design, develop, and deliver GIS solutions within a large-scale enterprise geospatial data programme. What You Will Do • Lead the design, development, and configuration of Esri GIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Portal. • Create documentation for data models, APIs, integrations, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs). • Ensure all Esri platform features perform correctly across test and non-production environments. • Provide technical leadership for migrating applications from Geocortex to VertiGIS Studio. • Integrate geospatial applications and services with the Azure-based data platform. • Support the development and execution of testing strategies for platform and application migration. • Serve as the technical authority for geospatial development, offering guidance and assurance to the wider team. Skills & Experience Required • Strong experience designing and delivering scalable geospatial solutions. • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure. • Deep expertise in Esri GIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Portal, and related Esri technologies. • Solid understanding of geospatial data models, APIs, and system integrations. • Experience with VertiGIS Studio, FME Server, or similar geospatial tools is a plus. • Experience with geospatial application migrations is beneficial. • Exposure to functional and non-functional testing (performance, usability, integration) is an advantage. 📩 How to Apply if you’re an experienced Geospatial Developer with strong Esri GIS Enterprise / ArcGIS Portal, VertiGIS Studio, and FME Server.
