Lead Informatica Data Governance Engineer / Architect

We’re hiring a Lead Informatica Data Governance Engineer / Architect Join Galent and help us deliver high-impact technology solutions that shape the future of digital transformation Position Overview This contractor role supports the enablement and operations of the Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Quality CDQCDGC platform The position requires handson expertise in data governance technologies metadata management cloud infrastructure and stakeholder collaboration The contractor will work closely with internal teams to drive platform adoption operational efficiency and compliance readiness Key Responsibilities Platform Enablement Configuration Configure and integrate Informatica CDQCDGC features including source control release automation and SMTPemail setup Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to secure agent servers disk space and buffer pool sizing Data Governance Operations Lead sprint planning retrospectives and backlog grooming for the Data Governance team Monitor and manage data quality rules dashboards and stakeholder reporting Support issue management processes including defect reporting and resolution tracking Business Use Case Development Develop and maintain business use case documentation using Six Sigma principles for complaint categorization and analytics integration across ServiceNow Jira and Confluent User Onboarding Access Management Coordinate user provisioning and access setup for the Anywhere Data Governance Platform ADGP including Okta integration and support ticket resolution Cloud Infrastructure Coordination Act as liaison for AWS VPC peering connectivity and secure cloud integration planning IPU Planning Forecasting Support Informatica IPU consumption forecasting and contribute to planning documentation Metadata Glossary Management Participate in glossary reviews and domain mapping across platforms such as Snowflake Dash and Trident to ensure metadata consistency Required Skills Qualifications Technical Expertise Strong experience with Informatica CDQCDGC platform Experience in Data Integration technologies Experience with cloud platforms eg AWS Azure and their respective services Good knowledge of Data Governance technologies including oData Catalogs Metadata Management Data Lineage Workflows Dashboarding oData Quality Tools oData Privacy Tools with future implementation plans oIssue Management for Data Quality Defects Strategic Business Alignment Ability to make technical recommendations tied to business outcomes in areas such as oAccess and provisioning oData quality measurement issue resolution and thresholds oIntegration patterns oPrivacy and security oRegulatory compliance oVendor roadmap analysis and future functionality planning Collaboration Leadership Proven track record of collaborating with client stakeholders technology partners and crossfunctional sales and delivery teams Knowledge of global privacy requirements eg GDPR CCPA and how to meet them using technology Ability to create strong crosspractice relationships to drive customer success Experience leading technical discovery sessions and workshops with a focus on business value Skills Mandatory Skills : Informatica Axon,Informatica Data Privacy,Informatica PowerCenter,Informatica DATA Quality,Informatica ILM,Informatica-EDC Why Galent Galent is a digital engineering firm that brings AI-driven innovation to enterprise IT.
