Role description
Lead Insight Analyst Location: Birmingham – Centenary Square (2 days a week in the office) Rate: Up to £625 per day Contract: Until 31/12/2026 (with potential for extension or permanent opportunity) Start Date: 12/01/2025 Number of Positions: 2 Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join their team as Lead Insight Analysts. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex data projects within a dynamic environment, supporting strategic decision-making across the business. What you'll be doing: • Extract large volumes of complex data using coding languages such as SAS, SQL, Python, or similar tools. • Validate, summarise, and convert data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders. • Dive deep into data sources to identify new data opportunities and sources within a large organisation. • Translate technical data outputs into understandable insights that inform business decisions. • Work independently to meet tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively. • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver meaningful analytics solutions. What you'll bring: • Strong coding skills in SAS, SQL, Python, or comparable languages for data extraction. • Proven ability to handle and analyse large, complex datasets efficiently. • Experience in analytics within financial services, credit risk, pricing, or marketing analytics is advantageous. • Exceptional attention to detail and a rigorous approach to data validation. • Ability to quickly adapt to new data sources and complex systems. • Self-starter attitude with excellent stakeholder engagement skills. • Comfortable working under pressure and independently.
