The ideal candidate must possess strong Power BI skills, particularly in developing dashboards and canned reports. The role involves designing and developing reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with business users and exhibit business analyst expertise. The Role Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement insightful reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using Power BI. • Collaborate effectively with business users to capture requirements and deliver tailored data solutions. • Utilize data modeling techniques employing Power Query and Power Pivot. • Develop and optimize complex DAX expressions for efficient data analysis. • Create and manage Paginated Reports using Power BI Report Builder. • Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes within SQL Server or other relational databases. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization across solutions. • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to enhance reporting capabilities. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field. • Minimum of 12+ years of combined experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, analytics, and reporting systems. • At least 4+ years of experience in relational and multi-dimensional (OLAP) data modeling. • Proficiency in SQL, including relational and dimensional database structures and query optimization. • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivative businesses. • Ability to analyze user requirements, make recommendations, and implement solutions. • Self-driven with the ability to troubleshoot and provide quick resolutions to issues. • Experience with full project management and development life cycle. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a high-pressure environment. Preferred skills: • Working knowledge of Data Flows. • Experience with PBRS (Power BI Report Server). • Familiarity with Power On. • Experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
