Lead Python Developer
Hello,
We have 3 urgent openings for “ Lead Python Developer". These are a hybrid positions in Baltimore, MD.
• Only looking for candidates who can work on W2
• Strictly no C2C or third-party vendors
Requirements:
Must-Have:
• 10+ years of experience in Python development, including frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• 2+ years in a leadership or senior developer role.
• Proven experience working in fintech, banking, trading systems, or other financial services.
• Familiarity with financial data structures, transaction flows, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, KYC, AML).
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience integrating with payment gateways, core banking systems, or market data APIs.
• Background in working with real-time data processing or high-frequency trading platforms.
• Exposure to financial risk models, pricing engines, or blockchain-based systems.
• Knowledge of Python libraries for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy) or finance (QuantLib, PyAlgoTrade).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
