Lead SQL DBA /Developer

Title: Lead SQL DBA/Developer Location: NYC NY On-site/Remote/Hybrid: Onsite Duration: 12 Months Key Skills - - Expert -level SQL querying /Database tuning experience is required - • Strong Solid DBA with SQL coding, querying, Azure/ETL, or Azure SQL experience. • The DBA responsibilities involved everything that you listed - indexing / security / provisioning / permissions everything • Power BI - required • Azure ETL or Azure SQL - required • Financial Analysis - highly preferred • Telecom Industry experience -preferred • Experience with project-based financial management, telecom expense management, budgeting / forecasting and or auditing a plus • In-depth invoice analysis and audit • Superior skills with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) • Outstanding organizational and quantitative skills as well as experience managing and resolving complex resource allocation problems • Ability to perform high-volume work accurately and independently • Ability to perform financial analysis using various financial system preferred • PeopleSoft Finance Modules • ServiceNow Reporting Modules Data Ingestion & Loading • Create, manage, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines. • Load data from files, APIs, vendor portals, Excel and external systems. • Validate incoming data, handle malformed records, and manage staging tables. • Automate imports with stored procedures, scripts, or scheduled jobs. • Write complex SQL queries (joins, windows, CTEs, aggregation). • Debug and optimize slow queries. • Build Modern Platform Skills (Cloud‐Friendly) • Deploy and manage databases in cloud platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.). • Understand data‐lake integration, pipelines, and blob storage workflows. • Use DevOps/CI tools for automated deployments and testing
