What You'll Do
Data Engineering & Development
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready datasets.
• Develop Python or R scripts to automate data processing and engineering workflows.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Work with large datasets to support analytical and reporting initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and performance across data pipelines.
• Prepare concise analytical summaries using Microsoft Excel.
• Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to support business and project deliverables.
Analytics & Reporting Support
• Support the development of dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements and data rules into technical implementations.
• Perform quality assurance, validation, and data integrity checks.
• Maintain data governance standards while ensuring patient privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in exploratory data analysis and research activities as needed.
What We're Looking For
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
• 1–2 years of hands-on industry experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, Software Development, or a related technical role.
• Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, transforming, and validating data from relational databases.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Healthcare data experience (claims, EHR, registries, or similar) is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand and accurately implement business rules and data logic.
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in a long-term role.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
