Role description
We're looking for an LMS Administrator who's equally comfortable in a system configuration screen and a business requirements conversation. This role goes beyond platform upkeep. You'll work directly with stakeholders across HR, Learning & Development, Sales Enablement, and Compliance to understand how learning supports their goals, translate those needs into platform capabilities, and continuously sharpen the experience for learners and managers alike.
You bring technical depth on Docebo (strongly preferred), but you also know how to ask the right questions, document what you learn, and drive adoption through partnership rather than just administration.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement
Partner with business stakeholders (HR, L&D, Sales Enablement, Compliance) to gather and document learning platform requirements
Facilitate discovery sessions and working meetings to understand current-state workflows and identify gaps the LMS can address
Translate business needs into platform configuration decisions, feature rollouts, and training program structures
Maintain a prioritized backlog of platform enhancements, balancing stakeholder requests against technical feasibility and platform roadmap
Serve as the primary liaison between end users and the platform, ensuring business context drives system decisions, not the other way around
Document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows to support configuration changes and new feature rollouts
LMS Administration & Configuration
Administer and maintain the LMS, including system configuration, user roles, permissions, and workflows
Manage platform and automated enrollment rules
Configure and maintain single sign-on (SSO) and system integrations (HRIS, CRM, content libraries, etc.)
Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with company policies
User Support & Enablement
Act as a proactive partner to business users, not just a support resource, helping them get more out of the platform over time
Create and maintain admin guides, end-user documentation, and onboarding materials
Run enablement sessions and office hours to drive adoption of new features and workflows
Troubleshoot system issues and escalate to vendor support as needed
Content Management
Upload and manage SCORM, AICC, xAPI, and other eLearning formats
Test and validate course functionality and user experience
Coordinate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to deploy content
Maintain compliance training tracking and certification records
Reporting & Analytics
Create and maintain standard and ad hoc reports on training participation, completion, and effectiveness
Build dashboards for leadership and compliance tracking
Analyze learning data to surface trends and present insights to business stakeholders in plain language
Connect learning metrics to business outcomes, not just completion rates
Continuous Improvement
Stay current with Docebo updates and new LMS functionality
Proactively recommend system enhancements based on stakeholder feedback and usage data
Support LMS upgrades, feature releases, and testing initiatives
Participate in learning technology strategy discussions and contribute a business perspective, not just a technical one
Skills
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of LMS administration experience
Hands-on experience with Docebo (strongly preferred) or another enterprise LMS
Demonstrated experience gathering requirements from non-technical business stakeholders and translating them into system configurations or feature decisions
Experience managing SCORM/xAPI content
Strong reporting skills and experience with LMS analytics tools
Experience with SSO, system integrations, and workflow automation
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings, document decisions, and present to varied audiences
Comfortable managing a backlog and prioritizing competing requests
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating LMS with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, Oracle)
Background or coursework in business analysis, process mapping, or requirements documentation
Knowledge of instructional design principles
Experience with learning content providers (LinkedIn Learning, OpenSesame, etc.)
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Experience in compliance-driven environments
Education
Relevant Degree, and Certification
Location: Reston, VA (Remote USA)
Pay Rate: $49 - $56.89/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 8+ month
Health, dental, vision, 401k (provided minimum eligibility hours are met)
