Job Title : Load Balancer Engineer
Location: Hybrid at Alpharetta, GA, United States
Duration: 12+ Months contract
Must: (7-15 Years Exp)
• 4+ years of experience working with Application Delivery Controllers - Specifically Citrix Netscalers (MOST IMPORTANT)
• BlueCat IPAM/DNS Experience
• (BIG PLUS!!! IF THEY HAVE THIS IT IS HUGE! MIGHT NEED SOMEONE WITH THIS EXP DOWN THE LINE)
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux
• strong understanding of Linux OS.
• 3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in languages like Python or Bash
• Curiosity and Creativity
• Very heads down but good communication
• Financial Services typically use Netscal
Plus:
• 3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g., DNS, HTTP, SSH, SMTP, FTP).
• 2+ years of Core Services experience (e.g., Apache/Nginx, Tomcat, Jetty, Postfix, bind).
• 3+ years of configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.)
• Web/Internet Security experience is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience working with Terraform or other IaC toolsets.
InfoBlox Experience
• CI/CD
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Day to Day: (Team Size: 7 --- this project will be two)
• Work within the group maintaining and developing Infrastructure:
• Develop and extend tools to maintain and monitor deployments.
• Assess, document, present, and execute project assignments.
• Evaluate and recommend commercial and open-source software.
• Automate complex processes.
• Escalation points to answer system related questions.
• Provide production support.
• Hands-on configuring load balancers or writing scripts for team to do impa.
