Looker Consultant

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled BI Architect – Looker to design, develop, and support scalable Business Intelligence solutions using Looker, LookML, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in BI architecture, data modeling, dashboard development, and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop BI solutions using Looker and LookML. • Build dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions. • Create and maintain semantic data models and KPI definitions. • Work with Data Engineering teams on data warehouse and data mart design. • Optimize dashboard performance and query efficiency. • Manage Looker security, access controls, and governance. • Partner with business teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights. Required Skills • Strong experience with: • Looker • LookML • SQL • Data Modeling • Business Intelligence reporting • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as: • BigQuery • Snowflake • Redshift • Strong understanding of dashboard optimization and BI best practices. Preferred Skills • Experience with dbt, Python, or Airflow. • Knowledge of Tableau or Power BI is a plus. • Familiarity with GCP ecosystem and Git/version control. Experience • 6+ years of BI/Data Analytics experience. • 3+ years of hands-on Looker development experience. • Experience designing scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
