Our client is looking for a Looker/Sigma Administrator who will support the administration, optimization, and strategic implementation of the Looker and Sigma platforms, ensuring performance, governance, and alignment with enterprise BI goals. This role focuses on platform operations, system-level configuration, user access, governance, and support—not on report development or business visualization creation.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
• Administer and optimize Looker and Sigma platforms for performance, security, and scalability.
• Manage access controls, user permissions, and governance models.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and folder-level access control.
• Configure and tune Looker settings for optimal system performance and security.
• Administer user access, security settings, and workspace configurations.
• Monitor and optimize Sigma’s backend performance (not layout or report content).
WHAT YOU BRING
• Bachelor’s degree in information science, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field preferred or commensurate professional experience.
• 2-3 years of solid hands-on experience with visualization tools, specifically Looker and Sigma.
• Experience with ETL pipelines and data transformation processes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for automation and customization.
• Prior experience in high-growth or consulting environments where agility and adaptability are key.
Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
• Hourly range is $30/hr - $44/hr based on experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
