This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration pipelines and workflows across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience integrating AWS services with IICS and SQL-based systems, ensuring efficient data movement, high performance, and data reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience integrating AWS services with IICS and SQL-based systems, ensuring efficient data movement, high performance, and data reliability. This position requires a deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, cloud architecture, and performance optimization to support enterprise data platforms and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data integration solutions using Informatica IICS. • Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows for batch and real-time data processing. • Integrate data across AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue) and relational databases using IICS. • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic for efficient data processing. • Implement data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources. • Optimize performance of data pipelines, workflows, and SQL queries to ensure high throughput and low latency. • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using AWS CloudWatch and IICS monitoring tools. • Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity across all integration processes. • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. • Implement best practices for data security, governance, and access control using AWS IAM and related services. • Support CI/CD processes and automate deployments for data pipelines and integration workflows. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Informatica IICS. • Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations, pipelines, and workflows in IICS. • Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, indexing, stored procedures). • 8+ years of experience working with AWS services including S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, and Glue. • Experience integrating AWS data services with IICS and relational databases. • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing principles. • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines and queries. • Familiarity with handling large-scale data processing and distributed systems. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with additional ETL tools or cloud platforms (Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, etc.). • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting. • Experience with real-time/streaming data integration (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.). • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines). • Understanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory compliance.
