We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 8-10+ years of experience in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), SQL development, and AWS cloud technologies. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data integration pipelines and workflows across cloud and on-prem environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience integrating AWS services with IICS and SQL-based systems, ensuring efficient data movement, high performance, and data reliability. This position requires a deep understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, cloud architecture, and performance optimization to support enterprise data platforms and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data integration solutions using Informatica IICS.
β’ Build and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows for batch and real-time data processing.
β’ Integrate data across AWS services (S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue) and relational databases using IICS.
β’ Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic for efficient data processing.
β’ Implement data ingestion frameworks for structured and semi-structured data from multiple sources.
β’ Optimize performance of data pipelines, workflows, and SQL queries to ensure high throughput and low latency.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines using AWS CloudWatch and IICS monitoring tools.
β’ Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity across all integration processes.
β’ Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
β’ Implement best practices for data security, governance, and access control using AWS IAM and related services.
β’ Support CI/CD processes and automate deployments for data pipelines and integration workflows.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
β’ 8+ years of experience in data engineering with strong expertise in Informatica IICS.
β’ Hands-on experience building and maintaining integrations, pipelines, and workflows in IICS.
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, indexing, stored procedures).
β’ 8+ years of experience working with AWS services including S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, and Glue.
β’ Experience integrating AWS data services with IICS and relational databases.
β’ Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
β’ Experience with performance tuning and optimization of data pipelines and queries.
β’ Familiarity with handling large-scale data processing and distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Experience with additional ETL tools or cloud platforms (Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, etc.).
β’ Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.
β’ Experience with real-time/streaming data integration (Kafka, Kinesis, etc.).
β’ Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines).
