Role description
Open to USC/GC Only On W2 Only No C2C Looking for someone local to Tampa, FL Duties β€’ Develop and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and automation scripts. β€’ Collaborate with data scientists to deploy ML models into production systems. β€’ Support the development of data and model pipelines on AWS (S3, Lambda, SageMaker). β€’ Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices. β€’ Implement monitoring and logging to monitor system stability and performance. β€’ Optimize data processing workflows for ML training and inference. β€’ Contribute to CI/CD and MLOps development work. Skills Required β€’ Strong Python programming skills. β€’ Understanding of machine learning concepts, preferably with experience using frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. β€’ Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, or SageMaker). β€’ Solid understanding of APIs, data serialization formats (JSON, Parquet), and RESTful services. β€’ Experience with SQL and working with relational databases. β€’ Knowledge of Git, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD workflows. Preferred β€’ Experience operationalizing or supporting ML models in production. β€’ Exposure to data pipeline tools (AWS Glue, Airflow, Step Functions). β€’ Familiarity with Java. β€’ Experience with AWS Sagemaker. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
