Job Title: AI/ML Engineer
Location (city, state): Bothell, WA - onsite 3 days a week
Compensation: 80/hr - 95/hr

Our client is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise AI and Machine Learning solutions. This is a hands-on role that combines responsibilities across Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, and AI Solution Architecture, driving AI initiatives from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end AI/ML solution development, including data preparation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
• Design and implement scalable AI systems supporting predictive analytics, automation, and decision support.
• Develop and deploy Generative AI and LLM-based solutions for enterprise use cases.
• Partner with business and data engineering teams to translate requirements into production-ready AI capabilities.
• Evaluate and recommend AI platforms, tools, and technologies to support business objectives.
• Establish best practices for AI governance, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proven experience delivering production AI/ML solutions end-to-end.
• Strong background in both Data Science and Machine Learning Engineering.
• Experience with cloud-based AI/data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and enterprise AI tools.
• Strong understanding of data lakes, lakehouse architectures, and data modeling concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL, analytics, and AI-enabled application development.
• Experience working within Agile and/or SDLC environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
