Job Details Type: Contract through May 2026 Pay Information: $75 - $83/hr (W2) + benefits Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite) Role Overview As a skilled Machine Learning Engineer, you will support critical batch workflows, ensuring smooth daily operations and optimizing system reliability. You will diagnose and troubleshoot job issues, minimizing downtime. Additionally, you will contribute to development efforts by making code improvements in Python, Bash, or Terraform, enhancing job orchestration and infrastructure configurations. Collaborate in implementing observability metrics and monitoring solutions to maintain optimal performance. Day in the Life • Monitor and troubleshoot critical batch workflows. • Submit code changes to enhance stability and performance. • Implement and maintain observability metrics and monitoring solutions. • Collaborate via GitHub for code reviews and pull requests. • Balance operational support with development contributions. Your Qualifications • 2+ years of experience with Python (PySpark), Bash, and R. • Experience with Apache Spark on YARN-managed clusters. • Experience with Hadoop environments. • Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools. • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code. • Strong job monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
