Machine Learning Prototyping Engineer

Wipro are looking for an Machine Learning Prototyping Engineer  to work in London on a contract basis The role will have a primary focus on taking loosely defined problems and turn them into proofs of concepts (PoCs) within days, the engineer will combine data engineering, modelling and lightweight application development to test ideas end-to-end Key Responsibilities • Design and develop rapid prototypes and PoCs using Python for data-driven and AI/ML use cases. • Build, train, evaluate, and fine-tune machine learning models • Where a POC shows promise, there would be additional effort to grow it into a prototype (applying the concept to functional business needs) within 2-3 weeks • Work independently with minimal guidance and iterate quickly based on feedback and communicate results clearly. • Take loosely defined problems and turn them into proofs of concepts (PoCs) within fast timescales Required Experience & Skills • Strong ability to translate ideas into working solutions quicklyHands-on skills across:Python (data processing, ML, prototyping). • Data engineering (APIs, data pipelines, SQL, cloud data). • Experience with Lightweight app development (APIs, simple frontends, notebooks, dashboards). • Strong Python Experience • Solid (not necessarily extensive) knowledge on the statistical/mathematical fundamentals that support and proposed ML methodologies. • Experience building end-to-end prototypes, not just models. • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. • Strong problem-solving and independent thinking. • Working knowledge of marketing and advertising Inclusion We don’t just look at your CV. We’re more focused on who you are and your potential. We also know that everyone has a life outside work, so we’re happy to discuss flexible working.
