Responsibilities
Job Summary:
As a Pricing Manager within the Pricing & Contracting group, you will be responsible for leading and coaching a team of Contract Specialists to implement National, regional, and locally based contracts that drive Cordis commercial strategies and objectives. The primary responsibilities will be to work with the Corporate Accounts organization to manage National GPO contract administration, renewal, and compliance in addition to supporting local contracts with regional IDNβs and independent hospitals.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead pricing governance to develop and implement regional contract strategies within guidelines for local hospitals and Integrated Distribution Networks (IDN) that are consistent with commercial objectives.
β’ Negotiate pricing under parameters as set forth by management in conjunction with Sales, Legal and Marketing. Provide rationale behind pricing approvals to help facilitate positive outcomes in pricing discussions.
β’ Execute and monitor negotiated contracts from implementation to expiration to ensure accurate invoicing. Support Customer Care, Credit Financial Services and other organizations to resolve pricing discrepancies and other related issues.
β’ Provide reporting and business review materials to support the Corporate Accounts Organization in monitoring and enforcing contract compliance. Work with Pricing Strategy team to analyze proposed contract modifications and pricing alternatives.
β’ Provide comprehensive business reviews, enable programs and contracts to drive revenue, monitoring pricing integrity, and protecting margin will be key responsibilities.
β’ Lead Contract Specialist team in supporting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across the Cordis portfolio. Responsibilities include roster management, support in the development and coordination of RFP responses, and maintaining RFP tracker.
β’ Support implementation of best practices, processes, and tools to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle, consistent process execution and unified approaches that maximizes sales support execution, quality, effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
β’ 8+ years contracts, pricing, or sales operations experience with 3+ years of managerial experience.
β’ Combined education and experience will be considered.
β’ Ability to travel domestically, estimated 10% travel
Preferred Qualifications
Expected Areas of Competencies:
β’ Proven ability to lead a team and work effectively cross-functionally with sales, sales management, finance, and customers.
β’ Deep understanding of pricing methodologies, contract structures, and sales workflows in the B2B healthcare space.
β’ Strong relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Proven ability to synthesize large data sets into clear recommendations; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
β’ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
β’ Understanding of the medical device marketplace and a working knowledge of the vascular space (cardiovascular or endovascular) or medical devices, especially Class III medical devices or implantable device
