Role description
Our client is an established biotechnology organization and is seeking a Manufacturing Data Analytics Specialist to support analytics initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment. This consultant will serve as the business-facing lead for manufacturing data projects, translating operational needs into effective analytics and visualization solutions in close partnership with data engineering teams.
This is a 12-month role with a strong likelihood of extension. This consultant will need to be onsite in Boston 5 days/week.
Responsibilities
β’ Act as the business lead and primary liaison between manufacturing stakeholders and data engineering teams.
β’ Gather, define, and document business requirements for manufacturing data analytics initiatives.
β’ Lead the design and delivery of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that support manufacturing decision-making.
β’ Collaborate with technical teams using Snowflake and SQL to support data modeling and analytics delivery.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, usability, and alignment with manufacturing workflows.
β’ Apply data governance best practices and maintain documentation for data products and workflows.
β’ Support end-user adoption through training, guidance, and ongoing analytics support.
Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
β’ 3-8 years of industry experience, including work in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
β’ Prior experience serving as a business lead, product owner, or functional lead for analytics initiatives.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Power BI and hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL.
β’ Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and data governance principles.
β’ Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
