Role description
Our client is an established biotechnology organization and is seeking a Manufacturing Data Analytics Specialist to support analytics initiatives within a regulated manufacturing environment. This consultant will serve as the business-facing lead for manufacturing data projects, translating operational needs into effective analytics and visualization solutions in close partnership with data engineering teams. This is a 12-month role with a strong likelihood of extension. This consultant will need to be onsite in Boston 5 days/week. Responsibilities β€’ Act as the business lead and primary liaison between manufacturing stakeholders and data engineering teams. β€’ Gather, define, and document business requirements for manufacturing data analytics initiatives. β€’ Lead the design and delivery of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that support manufacturing decision-making. β€’ Collaborate with technical teams using Snowflake and SQL to support data modeling and analytics delivery. β€’ Ensure data accuracy, usability, and alignment with manufacturing workflows. β€’ Apply data governance best practices and maintain documentation for data products and workflows. β€’ Support end-user adoption through training, guidance, and ongoing analytics support. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field. β€’ 3-8 years of industry experience, including work in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments. β€’ Prior experience serving as a business lead, product owner, or functional lead for analytics initiatives. β€’ Advanced proficiency in Power BI and hands-on experience with Snowflake and SQL. β€’ Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and data governance principles. β€’ Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights.
