Job Description
Duties
β’ Design and lead end-to-end primary market research (qualitative and quantitative) to inform brand strategy, patient engagement, HCP interaction, and campaign development in a rare disease indication
β’ Manage key quantitative studies (e.g., ATU, Promo Effectiveness) and ad hoc pulse surveys
β’ Work closely with both the HCP and Patient Marketing teams to ensure that strategic tactics and messaging are aligned to each customer groupβs needs
β’ Provide strategic insights to help guide HCP and patient marketing decisions to optimize tactical execution of brand strategies
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Market Access, Sales, and Advanced and Performance Analytics Leads to ensure insights are embedded into strategic planning
β’ Manage external research partners and ensure high-quality, compliant (in collaboration with PV/Legal), and timely project execution
β’ Present findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders in conjunction with external research partners
β’ Identify knowledge gaps and proactively recommend research approaches to effectively address them leading to business impact
Skills
β’ Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD) or other equivalent experience a plus
β’ Demonstrated experience in rare disease research, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges in small patient populations, diagnostic journeys, and treatment landscapes
β’ Demonstrated track record showing high business impact
β’ Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking
β’ Proven ability to influence brand strategy and tactical execution through data-driven insights and recommended actions
β’ Strong communication and storytelling skills with executive presence

β’ BA/BS degree required
